Smokies Trip: Speedway Thrill

There is no doubt that when I think of Gatlinburg, I not only think of the scenic beauty, but also the many Nascar Speedways that line the stretch. I have always looked forward to the time when at least one of my boys were old enough to take on the Indy Cars with daddy. Well, this time, Lucas was just big enough to be Les' partner on the tracks (barely big enough, but it cut it, ha). :) Sam on the other hand, not even close to big enough, but he got to have some fun on the little guy rides. On our way out of town, we made the stop and everybody had a great time, especially Les I think, haha! :) Most of the pictures below are of Sam because I stayed with him while Les and Lucas hit the bigger boy rides. We tried to watch Les and Lucas, but being the typical little brother that Sam is....he definitly did not understand why he too couldn't hit the tracks or coasters. :)
Les dreaming away over that car, haha!

Ready for some fun!

Grandma and her boys in front of some robot thing.

My little munchkin enjoying a hot pretzel and lemonade.

Sam and I hanging out in the cafe.

Can't see Lucas here because he is so small, but he is riding passenger with Les around the indy track. I'm not sure who had more fun, Les or Lucas....well, probably both of them! :)

Look at that big smile, don't you love it?

Sam's little world was rocked over the fact that they let him ride the little kiddie rides. He had sooooo much fun! :)

Sam spinning!

Sam and Grandma riding....apparently, he laughed so hard on this ride.

A wave from Sam.
