Christmas Day 2011

While Christmas Eve is always so hectic, Christmas Day is usually very relaxing and low key around here. Daddy had to work some in the day, but we enjoyed him in the morning and again later at night. Otherwise, we were grateful to spend the day with Grandma and Papa Lenning. We spent the day opening and playing with all of our presents, cooking and eating great food. Definitely our kind of day around here! :) Was so hard to believe Christmas has come and gone already, we look forward to celebrating the holidays in our new home next year. Below are a few pictures we took from Christmas day.
Merry Christmas morning with daddy before he was off to work again.

Lucas found his stocking that Santa stuffed full.

Lucas was one happy boy.

Lucas was to excited to wait for little brother Sam to wake up, so he tore into his first present.

Yes, Lucas really asked Santa for this remote control tarantula....ugh! :)

And Sam finally decided to wake up (yes around 9am) to get in on the Christmas action.

Didn't take Sam long to find his stocking stuffed full.

A little hug or looks like head lock from big brother Lucas.

Lucas was of course good at helping Sam open his gifts too.

"peeeww" from Sam as soon as he saw that he got a garbage truck, haha! Love that kid!

Loving his new garbage truck!

And loving his new Mickey spacecraft too.

Sam seemed very pleased with what Santa brought him.

A favorite for both was the giant piano Lucas had been begging for.

Always our favorite gift we have had for 4.5 years. :)

And my other blessing for 2 years now. :)
