Part 1 Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve 2011 was very busy, I guess as always. :) We were blessed to have Grandma and Papa Lenning in town and we did a lot in one day. We managed to shop, wrap, bake, cook, pack a little (for the upcoming move) and of course not forget to feed our reindeers before bed. :) We were all very tired by the days end. Lucas and Sam had a wonderful day and were so excited for Christmas. I had so many pictures from December 24th, that I have broken this post into 2 parts. Here is the first batch of pictures and there will be more to come.......

It was very important for Grandma and Lucas to make some "santa cookies". This year we did chochlate fudge with sprinkles...I believe santa loved those cookies. :)

A big smile from Lucas while making cookies with Grandma.

Overall, lots of baking and cooking went on that day. We still are consuming lots of yummy leftovers.

Grandma and Papa periodically throughout the day gave the boys some gifts to open. This way they (and mommy) wouldn't be so overwhelmed opening them all at once. Here Lucas has his new Star Wars mask on.

Lucas and Sam were very excited for Christmas this year.

Sweet brothers on Christmas Eve.

A picture and some gifts with daddy before he had to go to work.

My 3 favorite boys! :)

Grandma with a tight squeeze or her boys.

Grandma and Papa always make Christmas Eve extra special.

Look how excited Lucas is to tear into another present.

This was the first time I really noticed Sam getting into opening presents. He would love to open them, but then would toss it aside and go for another gift without seeing what he really got.

This Lego space shuttle was on Lucas' wish list....not so much for daddy, papa and Uncle Mark Bendickson who all had to put it together, haha! Yes, it took 3 engineers to put this together! :)

Sam chilling with Papa while he opened some presents.

Lucas with his Star Wars launcher...another wish list must-have.

Cute picture...Sam squeezed his way between daddy and papa to of course help them open thier presents too. :)

Sammy and Grandma!
