A trip to Phoenix could never be complete with quality time with the Holt Family (Eric, Becca, Kylie and Nathan). What a beautiful family inside out indeed...we always feel so blessed to say we know them. :) Eric is a Phoenix firefighter and is always so gracious in letting us visit and tour the fire station. This is a highlight for the kids and they have such a special time each visit. On this visit, they got to play in the trucks/ambulances, swing on the rope out back, try on some fire hats and the best was getting to take a ride high in the sky in the basket that attaches to the long ladder off the fire truck that extends 12 stories high in the sky. We will never forget getting to do that...what a view!!! :) Most importantly, Lucas and Sam got to spend quality time with adorable Kylie and Nathan. The kids all played so well and even frequently ask about each other now that we have gone home. I so wish we all lived closer, but we had such a great visit! I can't say enough about my visit with Becca too...you're one special friend to me and I miss you tons! Finally, on our last night in town, Eric and Becca were so nice to host a dinner reunion of our high school friends at their beautiful home. It was so great to see all of the friends and their families as well...catching up was a blast and I hope we can make this a tradition each time we are in town. :)
