Our second wonderful week in Hawaii was spent on the beautiful and peaceful island of Kaui. We spent Kuai with the Lenning Family (Gene, Lonna, Layne, Kathy, Lydia and Lindsay). Always so much fun getting together with the Lenning's, especially having all the cousins spend quality time together...just priceless memories! :)) A memorable and busy week it was...we had so much fun once again swimming, driving around and on this island we were quite active in taking a kayak adventure tour (where we kayaked 2.5 miles up a river, hiked and had a picnic) and doing a horseback riding adventure to a beautiful waterfall. The grown-ups, with the exception of myself, also did a helicopter tour. Finally, Les and I spent one of our final days (on our own) exploring the beautiful and breathtaking Grand Canyon of the Pacific and the Napoli Coast. We really enjoyed getting to drive around exploring this island, seeing many sights unseen in years if not ever. It truly was a wonderful week and it certainly did fly by!
