Our Little Skier Lucas

Heavenly ... the resort and the description of our first skiing experience with Lucas at Lake Tahoe. We are so proud of how great he did especially for only being 2 1/2 years old. (They had to call the ski school to find out if they even made boots in his size) The first day he was making laps on the magic carpet by himself. He doesn't like to go slow so on the steeper slopes Daddy had to hold him back with a harness. Lucas was smiling the whole time and had a blast ... it was fun for all who were watching including the grandparents and ski school instructors. They don't take children in official ski school until they are 4 but they were so impressed at how well he did and said they would take him next year. Next, MOGULS!!! :) On day 2, Lucas wanted to ride the big chair lift so after wearing out the magic carpet, we ventured up the hill. Lucas loved it so much that each time we got to the bottom he would tell Daddy that "Momma said we go one more time!" Check out the VIDEO at the bottom!

Introducing the newest (and cutest, ha ha) member of our ski family, LUCAS!

Riding the magic carpet to the bunny hill. After once or twice with Daddy's help, Lucas was able to both load and unload all on his own.

Even though Lucas was officially too young for Ski School, all the instuctors were still so helpful and impressed with how well he was doing. Here, an instructor is lending him a hand.

Lucas kept saying "Yay, I'm skiing".

A picture with Papa. Papa was also very helful in teaching Lucas the basics of skiing.

Papa lending a pole to help Lucas up the hill.

New ski buddies.

Permagrin :)
