We recently completed trip 1 out of our 2 trip series to Maui over the next couple of months. This trip was with the Lenning Family and our next visit will be with the Kaplan Family (not on purpose in the same year, just worked out that way for various reasons). Anyway, trips with our family have taken on a completely different meaning ever since both of our dad's have been diagnosed with cancer (yes, 2 weeks apart). These family trips have become that much more special and definitely more memorable for all of us. We have recently been reminded that nothing is more important than time with family. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii with Grandma and Papa Lenning. I can't even begin to tell you how much my little boys love their grandparents, especially Lucas. Spending time with Papa and Grandma just lights that little boy up. Likewise, the love that Papa and Grandma show for Lucas and Sam is amazing and words can't describe how good they are to my children. This Maui trip would not have been the same without their constant help, love, interaction and entertainment. Below are some very cherishable pictures with our very cherished Grandma and Papa.
Grandma and Papa with their pride and joy! :)
This picture was too sweet to not include.
Papa and Lucas pretending to paddle in a canoe.
Grandma and Sam hanging out.
Our little sweetheart with Grandma and Papa.
Sam getting a little ride on Grandma's lap.
Lucas and Grandma playing "run from the big waves".
