My 10 Month Old

On June 28th, my handsome baby boy turned 10 months old. As the previous post states, I purposely held on this writing secondary to Sam waking up very sick on his actual day of turning 10 months (See post directly below). I truly can't believe that I have a 10 month old. The last 10 months have flown by way too fast. We have all loved every minute with this special baby. Despite having a pretty sick month with three back to back ear infections, Sam has maintained his excellent disposition and happy/playful personality. This baby is sweet as sugar, but definitely knows what he wants too. Sam is extremely curious and if there is something he wants, he will do whatever it takes to get it and if you try and stop him, he will let you know he doesn't approve of that, ha ha! :) Sam is becoming more and more cuddly everyday, I love this about him and can't seem to get enough of his hugs and big wet kisses. Sam's smile is so infectious to everyone around, he can make anybody have a good day. Sam also has an indepedent streak to him and he doesn't really want you to do anything for him. We always joke that he is looking to move out, ha ha. Words can't describle how much this little baby boy is loved by all, he is truly this biggest cutie pie! :) At 10 months Sam is up to the following:

The boy LOVES his sleep and sleeps 12, sometimes 13 straight hours at night. He also takes 2 1.5 to 2 hr naps per day.

He still takes 4 bottles per day and solids x 3. Since Sam is so mobile now, getting him to eat is not as easy as it used to be. He also spends a lot of time throwing his table foods on the floor and then laughing about it. Funny at first, but gets old fast, ha ha. :)

Dislikes: Pretty much just getting changed, doesn't want to lie still and will roll over and scream.

Likes: His bottles/sippy cup, cheese crunchy snacks, playing ball, playing peek-a-boo, playing with and tackling big brother Lucas, kissing/hugging, crawling/cruising the house (he is very fast and goes everywhere), waving at all strangers (so cute), putting everything in his mouth, swinging at the park, his My Gym class, Music Playhouse class. Honestly, Sam is an extremely easy baby and pretty much likes everything and everyone.

Has 2 bottom teeth finally, yay!

Babbles very loudly and non-stop. Can say dada and mama appropriatly.

Shakes his head no, understands what no means.

Waves bye-bye or hi, claps hands.

Can stand and let go, not needing to hold onto anything. Cruising all over and sort of took half a step today by himself. We think walking right around the corner (big brother was 10 months when he walked, so maybe he will follow in his footsteps).

How could you not fall madly in love with this little face? :)

Our sweet 10 month old...wait, do I really have a 10 month old already? :)

Sam is now a busy little cruiser all around the house. He loves to walk pushing this grocery cart. No groceries because he tosses them all out first! :)

Boo...I caught you baby boy opening my pots/pans cabinent, ha!

Sam was so proud that he rearranged all of my pots and pans.

These next 2 shots are my favorite and they go together: Shot #1: "Where is Sam"

Shot #2: "Peek-a-boo, there he is". Peek-a-boo is one of his favorite games to play and he would play it all day with you of you let him.

Sam's other favorite game to play: Ball..he loves throwing or rolling the ball back and forth to you, he is pretty good too for a 10 month old.

Big 10th month old in his big boy chair. :)
