A wonderful visit from the Stein Family

The Lenning family couldn't have asked for a better Labor Day weekend as my sister, brother-in-law and adorable niece and nephew (Jillian and Ethan) traveled to town from Phoenix. What also topped that off was that Les had the entire weekend off too. We all had a blast and did so many fun things together. Lucas and Sam LOVE hanging out with their cousins Jillian and Ethan...it is so much fun watching them all laugh and play together. Despite the staggered age difference, they all get along so well and look forward to each others company. I also couldn't ask for a better sister (Jen) and brother-in-law (Aaron)...they are so much fun to have around and it seems to always be a guaranteed great time. The weather was by far the most beautiful of the season and we enjoyed playing outside, eating out, doing some shopping, walking Franklin Square/downtown Nashville and even doing some bowling. We definitely managed to pack it all in to a few days. The only bummer is that they left and our time together has flown by. Can't wait to see the Stein family very soon when it is our turn to visit Phoenix. Below are several pictures from our time together. :)

Uncle Aaron, Sam and Jillian chilling on the couch.
Nothing like bonding with Uncle Aaron over a sippy cup of milk. :)
The beautiful Stein family overlooking the beautiful Nashville skyline.
....and the Lenning family overlooking the same skyline.
Uncle Les/Daddy getting some playtime in with the kiddos.
Sam definitely had many happy times with Aunt Jen...he absolutely goes crazy over her.

The weather was beautiful for playing outside.

Jillian taking her little brother Ethan for a spin in the truck.
....and now taking little cousin Lucas for a ride.
Lucas and Jillian having fun with the cannon in Franklin Square.
It is never a trip to Franklin Square without a stop at Naticakes, yummy cupcakes. Ethan digging into his cupcake here. The strawberry cupcakes rock!
Downtown Franklin with cousins.

My beautiful niece Jillian. She always puts a smile on my face. Love this girl to pieces!
Had such a wonderful time with Stein family in town. Wish they could have stayed forever.

Bowling with the Stein family was a blast and all laughter. Here daddy giving Lucas some good bowling pointers. I have to say that I won the first game and I'm historically a bad bowler, but had some luck that day. :)

Jillian did very good bowling too. All the kids had a blast.

Jillian and Lucas sharing some laughter while bowling.
Sweet cousins!

what a fun time! I can't wait till you blog someday about the Thompsons Visiting and us doing that stuff you did with the Steins. :) Everyone looks great and love your haircut. You should put the new family pic of you and the skyline as your blog pic on the top right. :)
