After spending the night in Flagstaff, as we headed back towards Phoenix, we made a pit stop in Sedona...definitely one of my favorite places in Arizona. I knew Lucas would think the endless red rock would be pretty cool and yes I was right, he loved it there. We spent the morning walking a trail that took us through some of the red rock and a beautiful little creek. Lucas is still talking about how much fun he had throwing rocks in the creek with daddy. The weather was absolutely perfect that day and we couldn't have asked for more. Before heading out, we ate lunch at the Wildflower Cafe where not only was the food excellent, but we sat a table that may have had the best view in the whole restaurant. Below are a few of the pictures we took from our trip through Sedona. We already plan on heading back up there (with our entire famiy) the next time we visit Arizona.
Now that was a lunch with a gorgeous view. I totally recommend the Wildflower Cafe in Sedona for great food with an amazing view.
