Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve was a very busy night at the Lenning house. We had lots to do like finish wrapping presents, baking cookies for Santa, opening a ton of "non-Santa" gifts and of course not forgetting to prepare and sprinkle the lawn with our reindeer food. Papa and Grandma Lenning came to town for Christmas and we enjoyed having them be apart of all of these fun festivities. Unfortunatly, daddy had to work all of Christmas weekend, but we still got to sneak a little bit of quality time in with him as well. Since we were so busy on Christmas Eve, I took a ton of pictures and many of them were so cute. Here they are below:
Sam's second Christmas....definitely a very special Christmas! Great pre-Christmas present picture of Lucas and well Sam, as I was snapping this picture, he walked over to Lucas and just lied flat down on the ground. So funny!
Hilarious....my silly little Sam trying to climb under this Christmas tree. This was not the first time either, ha ha. :)
Love that smile....Grandma and Lucas baking cookies for Santa.
Seriously, could these boys be any sweeter? :)
Tons of presents, where to begin? :)
Sam loving his new toys.
Papa and Lucas before tearing into a ton of presents.
So happy to have Papa and Grandma share Christmas with us this year.
Lucas after opening his new Chuck obstacle course toy. This was definitely one of the hits of the night.
Sam and daddy on Christmas Eve.
Poor daddy had to go to work, but at least he got to do some presents with us before having to leave. Lucas was so excited for daddy to check out all his new toys together.
Sam digging into some presents.
Lucas and his new scribble and write Leapfrog toy. He is having a blast and doing so well learning how to trace letters.
Lucas and Daddy trying out his new Nerf ball blaster.
Grandma helping Sam learn how to ride his new turtle toy. Sam needs to grow just a couple more inches so he can bounce on the turtle by himself.
So grateful for Papa as he puts many, many, many toys together each year.
Papa and the boys checking out Lucas' new toy...Chucks Obstacle Course, one of my favorites.
Stirring up our oatmeal and glitter mix for Santa's reindeer to feast on. Lucas was very concerned that if we give Santa cookies and milk to eat "what will the reindeer eat"? Needless to say, we made a last minute trip to Target so that our reindeer would not go hungry, ha ha! :)
We can't forget the glitter, so that Santa and his sled will be able to find our house.
Leaving Santa his cookies and milk before bed. I love Lucas' big smile here, he was ready to burst with excitement that the next morning Santa would have made his little visit. :)
