On Christmas morning, we woke up to a beautiful dusting of snow in our yard. It just really set the stage for a cozy and relaxing Christmas morning. The snow continued throughout the day and we ended up with about 2.5 inches by night. I thought the kids, well especially Lucas, would have been up at the crack of dawn so excited to open presents. However, it was all of us that was anxiously waiting and excited for the boys to wake up....they slept in until almost 8. Once they finally got up, they saw all of their presents. I must say that Santa was very good this year and the boys are definitely all set in the toy department. :) We all had a wonderful morning watching the boys open and play with their new toys. Lots of laughs and smiles! Christmas is extremely fun at this stage.....even Sam is old enough to enjoy opening presents. Below are a few pictures we took Christmas morning. :)
A beautiful white coating for Christmas morning.
Was very impressed with my Lucas who said "I have to eat my waffles and then I can open my presents"....uh hello, did Santa not only drop off gifts, but re-program my little Lucas to love food before new toys, HA! :)
Christmas could not be more special then it is with my Lucas and Sam (and of course daddy). :)
A light-up ball for Sam.
Santa did a great job stuffing those stockings full. :)
