A couple weeks ago (yes, very early this year) we got our first measurable snowfall of the season. Initially, they weren't forcasting much accumulation, but within one day we ended up getting 4 inches of fluffy snow. It was enough to cause a mess on the roads, but for us, we just stayed home and enjoyed watching it fall from our windows. It was a great day as we pretty much stayed in our pj's, sipped hot cocoa/ate soup and only went outside to play in the snow. Let me tell you, it was COLD....bone chilling cold, so our outside time was very limited. The highs with wind chill were only in the teens and we didn't even let Sam outside. Once Sam went down for his afternoon nap, we bundled up Lucas ( and ourselves) and went outside for all of 20 minutes. It was enough time for Lucas and daddy to have a blast playing in the snow. They made snowballs, went downt the hill a couple times, did snow angels and Lucas cleared some snow off his playground equipment. Below are a few pictures I took while my little hands froze, ha ha! :)
