Lucas' Preschool Christmas Program

Last week, we were honored to watch our big boy Lucas' second annual preschool Christmas program. For several weeks now, Lucas was practicing his songs whether we were in the car or grocery cart at the grocery store. It just tickled Les and I pink every single time we heard his adorable little voice blurt out the words (he was really good at getting all the words and lyrics down). Les and I were so excited to see him peform with his entire class. Lucas did fantastic and sang all the songs with all the hand moves. He even managed to clap for himself after each song. We were so very proud of our little boy. What made this Christmas program extremely special was that Gene and Lonna (aka Grandma and Papa) made a surprise trip (well Les and I knew of course) to see Lucas perform at his program. This absolutely put Lucas on cloud 9 and made him feel that much more special. Following the Christmas program, there was a fun little cookie and punch reception. We all had a great time! Below are several pictures we took that day.
Lucas and his fellow 3 year old classmates doing such a great job singing.
Lucas had a big smile on his face during his entire performance. His smile got bigger everytime he made eye contact with me. Yes, I was "that mom" that had to wiggle my way to the front row to get the best pictures and view of my boy. :)
All of these little ones did such a great job singing and doing the hand moves.

At the reception after Lucas' Christmas performance. We were so proud of our little boy.
An attempt at a somewhat decent Christmas picture of the four of us.
This picture of Grandma and Papa with the boys cracks me up...they were all just giggling and having a great time. Possible a sugar high from all the cookies! :)
What a special treat to have Grandma drive all the way up just to see Lucas in his Christmas program. He is loved very much by his Grandma and Papa. The feeling is very mutual.
Lucas and his preschool teacher, Ms. Maya....we LOVE Ms. Maya to pieces. Lucas and Ms. Maya have this special bond with each other, it makes me so happy to see. :)
Sweet brothers!
"Ooooh" says Sam....of course he pulled that of the tree.
Some hot mamas, totally just kidding....haha! :)
Marian, her mom Connie (who we love dearly) and Sean. What a great picture!
