Is my baby boy Sam really 18 months now? I can't believe it, feels like just yesterday he was my little 6 pound peanut. I can't even begin to tell you how much joy this little boy brings to all of our lives. While he is constantly keeping us on our toes and busy chasing after him, he always makes us laugh and smile. I'm so grateful for Sam's amazing and outgoing personality. He is definitely our little wild man and provides anybody that is around him with constant entertainment. He dances, sings, constantly babbles, smiles, giggles....never a dull moment with this little guy and while we can be exhausted by the end of the day, we love it and wouldn't have it any other way. In the last month or so Sam has also developed quit a strong willed personality and we do see occasional tantrums when he doesn't get his way. I will say Sam continues to be a little love bug and I always look forward to my big, wet kisses and hugs. He has started to blow little kisses at us and that just melts my heart. He really is a little charmer! I can't wait for the months and years to come with Sam, I feel so blessed that I get to be his mommy. :) Our check-up isn't for a few weeks, so I don't have his size stats, but below are a few things that Sam is up to at 18 months:
LOVES his sleep (he wears himself out) and sleeps 11-12 hours at night and if I let him would still take 2 seperate 2 hour naps each. I usually give him just a 45 min cat nap around 9am and then a big nap in the afternoon.
Is a pretty good eater, but definitely has likes and dislikes. Not a big carb fan!
Has gone from like 4 teeth to 10 in the last 5 weeks, big explosion, poor guy!
Unfortunatly, has had 4 ear infections in last 3 months and his on verge of tubes. :(
Enjoys his weekly My Gym class and his met some of his own friends. :)
LOVES nothing greater then his big brother Lucas. He can't seem to get enough of Lucas and is always wanting to play with him and touch him, it's so funny.
Can do hand motions and tries to sing a few songs (wheels on bus, twinkle, twinkle), cute!
Language development increasing everyday. My favorite words are "what's that" which he says constantly throughout day. Has several other words as well.
Ability to follow directions is pretty impressive. He knows several body parts and can follow some 2-step commands.
Definitely a curious little boy that can get into just about anything at the blink of an eye....like I said, definitely our wild child.
