New House Update: Framing, Roof, Windows, Trim Completed

Our excellent builder and his crew have made a ton of progress on our new house.  Our framing is complete, hooray! We also have a shingled roof, all the windows installed, trim up/painted and our front door installed. On the inside, they have roughed in the plumbing, AC and have dropped off our fireplace and some tubs. The electrician has started there thing and they plan to start bricking and stoning our house the week of the 11th (granted Les and I can finalize our brick and stone this week, been a tough decision). :) In fact, we have been given a potential move in time frame of between Thanksgiving and Christmas (would be so special to spend the holidays in our new house). In the last couple weeks we have picked out our interior doors, trim and crown molding as well as all the cabinets (thank you Jane Ellen for sending me some good kitchen pictures). It has been a very busy, yet fun process.  Lucas and Sam have really enjoyed daily drive bys and visits to check out what they have accomplished each day. We feel very blessed!
Below are several pictures of the inside of the house with the windows on. It's amazing how much of a house it now looks like with the windows, doors and roof intact. As I mentioned before, there are no posted pictures of the exterior of our house out of respect for Les' wishes to keep us safe and somewhat private. I would be more then happy to email or text requested pictures directly...we would be even happier to just have you come visit in person when it is complete. :)

A look at our windows...I actually really like our windows with the bronze trim.

A look out our dining room window.

Door off kitchen that will take you to screened in porch.

Have the fireplace sort of in....on each side of the fireplace there will be built in cabinets, counter and shelves. Definitely could use a lot of storage.

Laundry room window....at least I will have a nice view while folding clothes, ha!

Lucas always so proud to stand in his new bedroom. Again, he has the best view and really cool double door windows...from the outside it will look sort of like a fake balcony with a railing.

Looking out the windows from the study, which is in the turit.

Sort of a view looking towards the den and back staircase off kitchen eating area.

I think this is looking in through the den from the patio. I just like the looks of the windows.

Another look at the windows, I really do like them, haha...I guess the simple things! :) This is looking in house from study.

And we have bathtubs...this is the tub in Sam's bathroom.

This is looking out the door to our balcony off the upstairs play room. Kind of freaky to stand out there now as there are no railings yet. Will eventually be able to put a small table and chairs out there.

Now Lucas standing in his bathtub from his bathroom.

Both kids jumping on the platform in our master bath where our tub will go. I think they thought it was like a stage they could jump and dance on, funny!

One of my favorite recent arrivals to the new house....our front door, hooray!! I have been so excited for them to install the front door since we ordered it. Of course, we need some handles. :)

Sort of a look at the front door from inside the house, this picture didn't turn out so well.

Basement kitchenette.
