New House Update: Drywall and Stone

It has been a while since my last new house update! We have had a lot of progress on the new house in the last month. Both exterior brick and stone have been completed and the inside has been drywalled. It really looks like a house now, our house, yippie! :) We love walking through it and deciding where everything will go and more so what all we need to buy (in time of course). Everything is coming together so nicely. Since my last post we have picked out all the granite for the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry as well as our hardwoods and tile. This Friday, we pick out our paint colors (I sort of dread that, what tough decisons). We are so blessed to have our wonderful builders with us every step of the way helping us make the best choices.  Otherwise, we would be lost as I definitely don't have a creative eye. It has been a hectic, but very fun process! Below are some pictures of the drywall. Next week, they will start laying the tile and hardwoods.

A close-up of the brick and stone next to each other. At first, I was a little disappointed and thought the two matched a little too well. Now, it's growing on me more and more everyday! :)

I think this is looking sideways into the garage. Garage can hold up to 4 cars, so we should have plenty of  garage room....finally! :)

I think this is Les' office in the basement...it sort of all looks a like when dry walled, ha!

Basment kitchen/bar area.

Standing in the middle of our master suite...I tried to capture the view through the windows.
