San Diego Trip: Legoland

This is my first of 2 posts (I had too many pictures) from our visit to Legoland. I broke it up into before lunch and after lunch pictures (this is before lunch). We had a fabulous day at Legoland. My parents came with us and were such troopers because this was their second visit in one month. We wouldn't have had nearly as much fun if they weren't apart of this day, so I'm so glad they were there. What also made the day perfect was that we met our good friends the Paraschos family at Legoland. We have so much fun with the Paraschos family and I love spending time with all of them. The kids have grown so fond of each other and have definitely formed a special bond. Legoland was so cool and had really cute rides and attractions. Sam and Rhodes were a little small for most of the rides, but they simply enjoyed running around the place. We definitely would go back again in the future! Below are the first batch of pictures. :)

Ready for a great day at Legoland!

The boys were immediatly in love with all that they saw at Legoland...it's so fun and bright, really cute place.  Lucas and Sam just stood here for a really long time staring at everything.

So honored that Grammy and Papa came along to Legoland with us. This was there second trip to Legoland this year and they were such troopers and awesome grandparents to stand the crowd twice in the same month.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful and involved grandparents. :)

Lucas was definitely attached to Grammy's hip during this trip. :)

Hooray, friends Nikos and Lucas reunited again. These 2 kiddos have such a blast with each other.

Our first ride was this little safari car ride...ut-oh, Lucas was driving Daddy, ha! :)

We had to pretty much sneak Rhodes and Sam onto the majority of rides. They have a 34 inch height restriction and neither of our babies are that tall yet. We definitely got a few looks from the workers as we measured them with their feet still dangling, ha ha.

So much fun getting to spend time with my good friend Jane Ellen and her family. We always have fun on these family outings together.

Daddy and Lucas had a blast on this water ride.

Jane Ellen laughing at this airplane ride we took Sam and Rhodes on (it was one of the only rides they were tall enough for). Jane Ellen and I could barely fit into these airplanes...I'm pretty sure my knees were stuck to my chest. It was hilarious, but the little guys had fun.

The cities made of Legos were incredibly cool. This was Washington DC!

Lucas is big into Star Wars these days, so the Star Wars area was definitely a favorite for him (and all the boys too).

Sweet boys Nikos and Lucas loving the Star Wars exhibit.

My parents....who celebrated 40 years of marriage this trip, hooray! :)

Lucas and Daddy hanging out in the Star Wars area.

Very cute, yet very crazy boys of ours. :)

Sam taking a lunch break, love his smile! :)
