New House Update: Interior Pictures

Here is the first batch of pictures from the new house. I took a ton, so will post more later today or tomorrow! The house is really coming along and is looking so beautiful with all the finishing touches. We have about 4-6 weeks until move in day, hooray! They have recently finished painting, installing the rest of our cabinets, staining hardwoods and completing tile/travertine, all door and cabinet knobs, shelving, trim, plumbing fixtures and lighting! We also have electricity and water...the small things in life, right? :) On the outside, we also have front stairs, the retaining wall, lights and gas lanterns burning (my favorite), 4 spires on the roof (another favorite) and our screened in porch. The big catch, however, is pouring the driveway and starting the big and challenging landscaping project. This is very weather dependent and weather has not been cooperating lately. Therefore, until this gets done, the bank can't appraise our house, we can't get our certificate of occupancy and we can't move. Praying the coming weeks are dry, so this can get completed. All that's left on the inside is pretty much carpet, which goes in this week. Below are a few pictures mainly from the basement, master bed/bath and study...more pictures to come in a bit! Can't wait for all of you to come visit soon!
The 4 cubbies I'm obsessed with in our mudroom. This would be the first room you enter from the garage in the basement. We have these 4 cubbies and then some additional coat hooks on the other wall. ORGANIZATION, HOORAY!!!!

Another peak at our cubbies...I'm going to put the kiddos names on each cubby, cute!

Basement kitchenette coming together. Still need the shelves in between cabinets installed (Les chose shelves there so he could display his Auburn stuff). As you can tell the basement is aka "the man cave".

A peak into the basement bathroom.

Iron door to the wine cellar.

A look at our door handles. Basically oil rubbed bronze hooks.

Very dusty and can hardly see the granite color, but this is part of my vanity in the bathroom.

Les' vanity on his side of bathroom. Yeah, we won't bump into each other anymore and I don't have to look at his shavings, haha, just kidding because I'm sure I will still be cleaning it! :)

A close-up of the knobs in our master bathroom. Everything is pretty matchy here, we chose that design for knobs, shower pattern and the backsplash around our vanities and tub.

We had the french doors off the study stained to match hardwood color.

And the beams in study were also stained hardwood color. There will be a light fixture in the middle, but here it hadn't been installed yet.

Study color and some of the windows. It's in the turrit, so round room. Have no clue how to furnish this room....ideas?

Just a peak into the corner of the master bedroom. Impossible to get an entire picture of room or I haven't figured out how to do it yet, but it's basically just a master bedroom, ha! Can sort of see tray ceiling here.

So we have a hallway connecting the master bedroom to master bath and this sort of looks into it. On each side of the hallway is both of our master closets. It then feeds into the bathroom. The main light fixture is still covered in wrap here, I will have to get some more pictures later.

I think this is one of the sconces on the hallway down the stairs to the basement. More pictures to come later on!!!
