Turkey Visit With Grammy and Papa

While this is a particularily difficult post for me, I still had to make mention of the visit we had with Grammy and Papa over Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday and visit with my parents is typically the Thanksgiving visit, but of course this year was a little different. Personally, I became very sick and did not get to take part in much during the week and to top it off, I suffered a miscarriage. As difficult as this is to discuss, I feel the need to because I need to thank my parents, specifically my mom from the bottom of my heart, for all she did during what became the worst week of my life. My moms constant help while Les and myself grieved our sudden loss (and I had to have surgery) will never go forgotten. Lucas and Sam couldn't be more lucky to have a Grammy as good as my mom. She did everything for my babies and most importantly kept them full of smiles, as they deserved, during a time when their mommy and daddy was full of tears. Thank you so much Mom, we would have never made it without you and I don't think anything I could ever do or say will repay you for all you did during that visit. Like I said, despite my hardships, Lucas and Sam still had a blast with my mom and dad (thank goodness, they deserve nothing less). On one beautiful day, we made a trip to the park, a definite favorite. Below are some pictures we took of Lucas and Sam with Grammy and Papa. There is no doubt Lucas is very attached to his Grammy. When Grammy is in town, nobody else exhists, haha!
