Last weekend was amazing fun as our very close friends Laura and JT Thompson came to visit from Phoenix. Laura and I have been the closest of friends since college and the sorority days. Words can't describe how much we love this couple (they also have 2 beautiful boys who stayed back to have fun with their grandparents). :) We all have endless fun with each other and that was what the entire weekend was about...pure FUN! We had 3 exciting days together and we sure jam packed it all in as best as we could. We toured both Nashville and Franklin, visited Opryland and even had a double date night where we took in a movie and fantastic dinner. Laura and I also enjoyed a "girls night out" together. We ate out at some great restuarants around town and had tons of laughs. Lucas and Sam had some good bonding time with Laura and JT as well...they made my boys feel so loved and special. What a great weekend...Laura and JT, we miss you already and can't wait to see you all again soon. Thank you so much for taking the time to come visit us, it meant the world! | Thank goodness our Aunt Laura was in town just in time to help Lucas with his "Star of the Week" school project. He lucked out by not having mommy decorate it, haha! Everybody that knows me knows I lack creativity, but Laura on the other hand, is beyond amazing at it! |
