We are so lucky to have Grammy and Papa Kaplan come to town for both Lucas and Sam's birthday. They always make the boys feel so loved and special and it's an honor to have them come visit. This visit was in honor of Lucas' big 5th Birthday...those posts to follow! :) My mom came to town for 10 days and my dad for 5...we all feel so loved to get that much time together. Well, as always, we definitely packed it in when Grammy and Papa were in town. Of course, we did lots of playing inside and out at the house, but we also prepared for and celebrated Lucas' birthday, went to the zoo, children's museum, lots of great restaurants/shopping and the Franklin Festival. It was very busy, but lots of fun...I think Grammy and Papa were pretty pooped by the end, haha! Lucas and Sam are so lucky to have Grammy and Papa...they are so amazing with my boys. I know I say it all the time, but I love watching them all interact and play, you can just feel the happiness from everybody. Makes me feel so good to know that Lucas and Sam are loved so much by all of their grandparents. Below are some random pictures from Grammy and Papa's visit. Most of the pictures have Lucas rather then Sam....that is of course because my little Sam thinks it's funny to run from the camera and some battles are just not worth fighting, haha! :)
