Fourth of July 2012

Other then daddy having to work, Fourth of July was a lot of fun, hot, but fun! We were grateful to have grandma and papa come to celebrate the holiday with us. Was so nice to have their company and as always, the boys love time spent with grandma and papa. The day was pretty low key, but very nice. We baked yummy treats, grilled out and played outside with the pool and water sprinklers. We ended the day by sitting up on our balcony catching the fireworks displays from around town. This was our first year to do that and I look forward to many more Fourth of July's from our home. Below are some pictures from the day, but somehow I managed to get them all out of order. :)
Making some chocolate rice krispie treat bars with grandma to celebrate the fourth!

So great to be able to put the kids in their pj's and watch fireworks from our very own balcony. We were able to catch about 3-4 displays from around town, very nice! :) Even nicer to not have to fight parking or pay a fee. :)

Brothers waiting for the show to begin.

My phone was terrible at catching the actual fireworks, but I could catch Lucas and Sam watching. :)

Grandma and Lucas enjoying the show. :)

We enjoyed grilling out and playing outside with the water earlier in the day.

Shooting off our pretend little missle with Papa.

A great shot with grandma, papa and the boys! Happy Fourth! :)

My little loves!
