San Diego Trip: Legoland

A new destination we have recently added to our annual trip to San Diego is Legoland. Last year was our first time and ever since, Lucas has asked about Legoland a million times. In fact, the second we landed in San Diego, that's all he could talk about. I have to say Lucas and Sam are at the perfect age for Legoland. Sam was just now tall enough to go on the rides and the rides are definitely geared a little more for smaller kids. We have made going to Legoland with the Paraschos Family a tradition and we went with them again this year. Having all the boys there together made it that much more fun. We definitely had to deal with some long waits for the rides, but the weather was perfect and all had a great day! :)

This year, Sam was just big enough to do some, if not most of the rides. :) This was on the kiddie roller coaster.

Sam's first time behind the wheel and boy was that a sight. You were suppose to be 3, so we sort of fudged (by like a month now) to get him and Rhodes on the ride. We quickly figured out why the recommended age was 3...our boys had some troubles getting the car to go and steer. It was actually pretty hilarious to watch! They had fun trying, but I don't think the operator liked us a whole lot, haha! :)

Rhodes also giving driving a try. He could actually get the  car moving fast, but steering was another issue. :)

The Lego Star Wars area was definitely a favorite again this year.

This year they also had a Las Vegas Lego exhibit....definitely a favorite for Les and Theo, ha!
