Christmas Eve 2012

Christmas Eve is always a very busy day and night. So much to do like finishing sometimes buying and wrapping gifts, opening gifts, making Santa cookies and not forgetting to leave our reindeer food in the yard before bed. Wow, it is an exhausting, but very fun day each and every year. We are so grateful to have Grandma and Papa Lenning in town for each Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...they always add a very special touch to everything we do to prepare and enjoy. Daddy had to work for most of this day, but we still managed to do some gifts with him and had a great time. Below are a bunch of pictures we took doing all of our activities on Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Eve we generally do all the "non-santa" gifts...aka gifts from Grandma/Papa Lenning and mommy/daddy.

Helping Papa put some toys together. Each year Papa gets his screw driver all ready to be hit up for many toys needing to be put together. He is so good at it and we all appreciate it!

Making cookies for Santa...need to keep his belly full.

What makes those cookies sweeter, is doing them with Grandma. Everything is a little more fun with Grandma's help!

Sure hope Santa liked these...well, I'm pretty sure he did! :)

So, before we fed our reindeer their special trail mix, we shot off some little rockets with Papa.

My boys all ready with their "reindeer food".

Very important to leave food for Santa's sleigh and friends. :)

Tired boys on Christmas Eve all ready for a good nights sleep.

Can't go to bed until we leave Santa some cookies and milk. :)

Sam just making sure those cookies are still there or trying to sneak one in himself, ya never know! :)
