Christmas Day 2012

Well, this Christmas Day 2012 was a little bit different then previous Christmas'. It started out just wonderful as the boys woke up and we had breakfast and they opened up all their presents while Grandma and myself prepared Christmas lunch. However, a twist of events happened around 11:30 when my dad called to tell me that unfortunatley my grandfather (Zayde) passed away. We knew he had been very sick for a few days, but you never really are prepared. Therefore, I had to quickly pack my bags, say good-bye to everybody else and hop on a plane to Phoenix that same day. This explains why my pictures stop at opening the presents and do not go further into the day. From what I understand, the boys still ended up having a good Christmas despite their mommy having to leave midday. They enjoyed getting to play with all their new toys and everybody enjoyed eating the delicious Christmas meal. Christmas is all about love and family and I'm hoping next year will be back to normal on Christmas Day.

Yay...Sam finally got his "ho, ho" pirate ship he had been asking for like everyday, ha! :)
