Our Precious Bube

I'm actually going to make my very last post of 2012 about my sweet grandmother, aka Bube. I love my grandmother so very much and got to end the year spending time with her unfortunatley under sad circumstances. On Christmas Day, my grandfather, aka Zayde passed away from pneumonia. He was such a fighter for so many months and finally gave up the battle...what a force to be reckoned with. I flew to Phoenix on Christmas day so I could say a final goodbye to a wonderful man I have had in my life for 34 years. I will miss my grandfather so very much, but I know he is in heaven and not suffering anymore and for that, I'm so grateful. My grandparents were married for 75 years...a love like I have never seen. The hardest part was seeing my grandmother in her first days without the love of her life that she had slept next to every single day. I can't and don't want to imagine the pain she must be in. I'm so grateful that I got to spend quality time with my grandmother while in Phoenix...that time we had together is something I know I will cherish forever. I have learned so much about life from my amazing grandparents and they will always have a special place in my heart.
