We just got back from our annual snow skiing trip with Les' family to Lake Tahoe. This year, Lucas and I could only be there for a couple days (due to his school schedule), so my pictures are very limited. I at least made sure to get some pictures of the boys hitting the slopes. We had a great time spending time with Les' family (Gene, Lonna, Layne, Kathy, Lydia and Lindsay) and enjoyed hitting the slopes together. Lucas went to ski school and blew us away with his skiing skills. On our second day, we skied with Lucas and couldn't have asked for a better time. So proud of him and his bravery out there. Sam got out there and skied a couple of times with Les as well. I have seen the video and have to say it's pretty impressive for a 3 year old. So proud of both our skiing boys and can't wait to have many ski trips with our boys skiing side by side with us. Trip was short (for some of us) but sweet and a great time. Below are several pictures taken from the slopes.
| Getting all excited to hit the slopes on their first day. |
| Getting Lucas ready for ski school....which he loved and wanted to do everyday. |
| I do not know what we would have done with Grandma's help getting the boys all ready to ski. It is quite the process and a bit exhausting with all the gear. :) |
| Les getting Sam out on skis was simply TOO CUTE!!! Sam did so, so first day but really good for Les later on in the week. |
| We were able to quickly grab one shot of Lucas from ski school. This is him riding the little tram to the hilltop. |
| On the second day, after Lucas completed ski school, we took him on the slopes with us. He did AMAZING and we were so proud of his newly learned skiing skills. We had a blast skiing side by side with our little boy. A glimpse into our future skiing with our kids, so fun. |
| Hard to see faces...Layne Gene, Les and Lucas. |
| These little guys and their ski gear was too cute! |
| Daddy and his newest ski partner, love it! |
| And a little face plant for Lucas. |
| He was such a good sport about falling and would laugh or eat the snow before getting up. Loved his spirit out there. |
| Top of the hill, hooray! Definitely getting blown up and framed! :) |
