Easter 2013

Easter 2013 may have been cold and rainy, but it didn't keep us Lenning's from having a fun-filled and busy day. As always, we were blessed to have Grandma and Papa Lenning come to town to celebrate this most special holiday with us. Unfortunatley, we didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with Daddy on Easter...he had to go to work and save some lives. We are always so proud of him and his sacrifices he makes for our family 365 days of the year. After church, we spent the rest of Easter doing lots of fun activities at home. Since it was so wet and cold outside, the boys did a big Easter egg hunt in our house. They had a blast and perhaps more fun then they do outside. We did this hunt over and over again, haha! After hunting for eggs, we dyed and decorated eggs and made some Easter cookies. I bet you can't guess who was on a major sugar high by the end of the day....check out the pictures below and you will see who and why, ha! :) All and all, it was a fun day!! :)

Rain and cold makes for an indoor Easter egg hunt....boys had a  BLAST and we must have done the hunt about 5 times throughout the day, haha! :)

After the Easter egg hunt, the boys and Grandma dyed some eggs. Everybody had a good time!

And finally onto making Easter cookies....can we say busy day!! :)
