April 24th, Lucas actual birthday was a busy, but fun day. We really tried to pack it all in on top of school, so that Lucas had a special day. Yay for us, Grammy was in town to celebrate the big day. We always enjoy having Grammy around during special events. On Lucas birthday, we had lunch with him at his school and brought in some Krispy Kreme treats for his fellow classmates. After school, Lucas had his private skating lesson and then we headed to Opry Mills for a special dinner treat, The Aquarium Restaurant. There, we met up with my Aunt Judy (Grammy's sister) and her boyfriend Jeff who happened to be in town from New York. Seeing them and introducing them to Lucas and Sam definitely added a special touch to the evening. Following dinner, we headed home and had some "bumble bee" ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. By 8:30, we had 2 very tired little boys very ready for bed. I think all and all, it was a pretty special birthday for Lucas. :)
