This is Lucas' first year playing on an official ice hockey team...he is part of the Termites Division, Gold team member! He has done very well so far this year and is enjoying learning the game of hockey. A couple weeks ago, Lucas and his team had the chance to participate in the intermission activities on the ice at a Nashville Predators game (in between periods 1 and 2). 5 minutes into the first period, I took Lucas down to the holding section, dressed him and sent him off to the ice while I hoped back up to my seat. Granted, he was only out there for 60 seconds (didn't even get any good pictures), it was still pretty exciting for him and us to watch. :)) Then, last Monday, during Lucas' weekly ice hockey practice, they had a very special treat as 3 of the actual Predator's players came to coach their session. All of us parents were glued to the glass and got some great video and pictures. Gnash was there and hung out some with Sam too! :) Lucas especially liked being coached by Carter Hutton, our goalie for the Predators. At the end, the boys got autographs and some good pointers too! It's been a great start to the season so far! :)
