No doubt 2014 wrapped up with a house full of family and friends, we often do enjoy it that way! :)) It was a busy time, but a good time indeed. Gene and Lonna stayed throughout Winter Break, but just following Christmas, Layne, Kathy, Lydia and Lindsay came to visit for the week. Jane and Steve (Lonna's brother and sister-in-law) came for a couple days and to ring in the New Year with us. We did a lot of just relaxing at home, watching the kids play and catching up with the adults. Felt good not to have a hug agenda for once. We did get out some for a movie, shopping and some good old fashioned roller skating per Gene and the kids request, ha! :) At the very end, we had our good friends, Jon and Michelle Bendickson (Caroline and Andrew) from Huntsville come up for a delicious lunch and day together.
