Even though Les had to work on actual Christmas day, we still had a great day with our family. It was really important to Les to get to see Lucas open some of his "Santa" gifts, so we woke up real early before Les went to work, so that he could watch him get to a couple presents (I mean only a couple of what seemed like 50, yup, lots of spoiling done by both sets of grandparents). The rest of the morning was spent by papa (we were very grateful for him) putting together many toys. I think I need a new house just for toys, it really is crazy. Later on that day, Les called to see if we wanted to come up to the hospital so he could see his babies all dressed in their little outfits, which were courtesy of my very close, missed and extremely talented friend Jane Ellen Paraschos. Lucas always love to see daddy at work, is obsessed with anything doctor and has begun to refer to himself as not Lucas, but "Dr Lenning"...this tickles Les pink everytime and is so funny. Follwing our visit with daddy, we contiuned on with our almost yearly tradition of visiting the Opryland Hotel, which is decorated so beautifully for the holidays. Les was able to eventually meet us out there, just in time for our Christmas dinner. All and all, we had a beautiful Christmas and as 2009 is about to end, we continue to reflect on all that is important and so much to be grateful for.

Another favorite for Lucas...his new Super Why computer, it's his favorite show
