The several days leading up to Christmas continued to be very busy for the Lennings. Other than myself catching a nasty bout of the stomach bug (was so grateful to have an amazing husband and family around to help while I was in bed for 2 days), we had so much fun. Gene, Lonna, Layne, Kathy, Lydia and Lindsey (Les' brother and family from Dallas) all came into town to celebrate Christmas a little early as half of them would be driving on to visit Kathy's family for actual Christmas day. Lucas absolutely loved the attention he got from his big cousins, Lindsey and Lydia. They are so beautiful and have gotten so big since we have seen them last. They were wonderful helpers with little Sam too. I wish I could keep my sweet nieces around all the time! :) We had a lot of fun just hanging out decorating the Christmas tree, shopping, of course lots of playing among the kiddos and going to see the Music City Rockettes. This year seeing the Christmas Rockettes was extra special for me because my good friend Collen from childhood's little sister, Stephanie was one of the Rockettes, yes very cool. We got special attention after the show and got to hop onto the stage to get pictures with a lot of the cast. This was especially special for Lydia and Lindsey.
