Holiday Spirit

It's amazing how Christmas isn't even here yet, but we have still been so busy with a lot of different activities. We have had a lot of fun preparing for the holidays like decorating our house, making cookies/gingerbread homes and attending a bunch of Christmas parties/dinners. We are also getting ready for the arrival of lots of our family to help celebrate the upcoming holidays. By far one of the highlights has been watching Lucas perform in his first Christmas performance at his school. Les, Sam, Gene, Lonna and myself all attended and pretty much melted after watching Lucas come onto the stage. It was truly the cutest thing ever and we were all so very proud of our little boy. He stood there like such a big boy, sang all of the songs and even did the hand motions to go along with the music. He did it all with a huge smile on his face. I can't wait to watch him do it again next year when he is 3.

The boys and Santa Clause....Lucas loved him, Sam was not so sure

Sam at Lucas' Christmas program...he enjoyed watching his big brother

Smiley Sam

Lucas after his little performance

Sean and Lucas

Lucas is the second kid on right...he did so well

Lucas still is very in love with his brother, a sweet moment

Making a Gingerbread House...Lucas was very serious about this, ha

Is anybody watching me eat the frosting?

Frosting his house, he took like an hour to do this

....and still frosting....a little type A (maybe like his mother, ha ha)

The final product
