While visiting Phoenix, I was very fortunate to get to have dinner with my best friend from childhood (since age 7), the one and only Marla. Lucas and I (minus Sam as it was too close to his bedtime) met up with Marla and her beautiful little girls Catriona (age 5) and Clare (age 3) at one of my favorite Phoenix restaurants, Sweet Tomatoes (Nashville really needs to get one). The kids all behaved so well during dinner and we had a great time eating, laughing and catching up. Time spent with Marla seems to always guarantee a great time with lots of memories made. We have such a special and unique friendship and I know it will always be that way. Now that I'm home, I already miss Marla and I'm wishing she can come visit us soon. :)
Don't they make an adorable couple (I give total approval, ha)?
Catriona at almost 6 years already, can't believe she was in Marla's belly at my wedding. She has turned into such a beautiful and sweet girl.
