Sam at 7 months

On March 28th, the sweetheart pictured below turned 7 months. I know I say it every month, but time needs to just slow down or else I'm going to want like 5 more kids (well, probably not quit 5) and Les may put the kabosh on that, ha ha. :) :) Anyway, I can still say what I say every month, Sam is quit possibly the happiest baby in the world! I'm not just saying that because I'm mama, but everybody tells us that and it's so very sweet to hear. With every passing day, his personality continues to shine and I really appreciate how outgoing and social he is. With that said, he is a very active baby and I think I have him pegged for the future: He is going to be my child that gets into everything (we were very blessed with Lucas because he has been such a good boy and I'm pretty sure I can recall him breaking like only 1 thing over the course of 3 years). :) Sam almost always has a smile to share, it melts all of our hearts. He loves people and tends to get a lot of attention wherever we go. Sam has also been doing a lot of new things this month, here is what he is up to:

A great sleeper and sleeps between 11 and 12 hours per night. 2 naps per day.

Takes 4 bottles per day and solids 3 x per day.

When asked to "give kisses", he will either plant a wet one on you or put his head down for you to kiss it, this is my favorite! ::)

Has just begun to shake his head "no" when he doesn't want something.

While babbling, he can put several sounds together like ba ba, ma ma, da da. He constantly babbles and blows raspberries.

Loves to sit up and play with his toys, when on tummy is starting to try to draw his legs up.

He rolls around all the time and can quickly roll across an entire room, it's hilarious!

Grabs everything and very fast at it. He will go out of his way to grab something he really wants and apparantly has some long arms, ha! :)

LOVES big brother Lucas and desperatly wanting to play with his "big boy toys".

A very happy and healthy baby...a true blessing in all of our lives! :)

At the beach outside Mamas Fish House in Maui.

Seriously, could you not just eat him up? Ha Ha! :)

I think the grass felt a little funny too him, we were also hoping he wouldn't be allergic to it, but all went well. :)

Too cute to not re-post....those are some cutie pies!

So hard to believe 7 months, loving every minute with this guy.

Just makes you smile.

He may be cute, but he is the sloppiest eater I have ever met, ha ha, but seriously true. He would much rather play, laugh and smile at you then actually eat his food (I know, by the looks of him, you would never think that true). He also tends to blow raspberries during mealtime and you need to not only strip him down, but also wear a tarp for yourself. :)
