Easter Sunday was a great day for our family. Les was off work and that always makes any holiday extra special for the kids and myself. While it was a quick trip, we ventured to Huntsville (for about 24 exact hours) to celebrate Easter with Grandma and Papa Lenning. The boys, especially Lucas had a great time. Lucas slept in Sunday morning, but when he awoke he enjoyed digging through his Easter baskets. We then went to church where Lucas was such a good boy and sat through almost the entire service (which was over an hour). Not bad for an almost 3 year old. :) After the service, Gene and Lonna had a little Easter gathering for all of us and our close friends Pat and Bill Lummus and the Bendickson Family. The food was soooo incredibly good and it was a lot of fun catching up and watching all the children play and enjoy an Easter egg hunt (with like over a 100 eggs, it was huge). Below are some pictures from our day. As you can tell by the pictures, the weather was beautiful. We really couldn't have asked for a better Easter. :)

Daddy took a few pictures of Papa and Lucas playing with his new bubble machine.
His new Easter toy.
Even though this was Lucas' 4th egg hunt of the week, I loved how excited and enthusiastic he got over finding eggs, what a cutie pie! :)
Sam catching a few rays while watching big brother hunt for eggs.
Sam loved playing with this blue egg. Next year he will probbaly realize that what's in the egg is much more fun, ha ha! :)
Lucas, Andrew and Caroline all on their fun little Easter egg hunt.
"Look, a blue egg....that's my favorite one". He said this like a thousand times. :)

Just starting to fill up the basket.

Sam and Daddy chilling on Grandma and Papa's front porch.
