Lucas' Big BIrthday Party

Despite Lucas' birthday party being the first day of severe weather this year, the entire day and his birthday party turned out to be a total success. We all had an absolute blast, especially the birthday boy Lucas. A few months ago we joined My Gym for regular weekly class and Lucas is in love with that place. We go on Wednesday mornings and have met so many fantastic friends from his class. Since My Gym is definitely one of Lucas' favorite things to do, I thought it would be perfect for his birthday party. Ever since we booked his party, Lucas had been talking about how excited he was for his party everyday. Anytime he would be on the phone with somebody he would say "hi, do you want to come to my birthday party". He even asked the cashier at Publix.....cracked me up for days! :) So when the big day came, you could only imagine the excitement my little boy had. In addition to all of us and both sets of grandparents, we had about 15 of his little friends there and only about 4 buddies had to cancel due to weather problems or illness. The staff at My Gym did a fantastic job with the party and making Lucas feel so very special. I think everybody there had a great time! Les took a TON of pictures and I put as many as I could below.

Lucas came in on a really cool motorcycle...that was definitely a highlight! :)

My big 3 year old, still can't believe he is really 3.

A couple of the boys playing.

So cute! Lucas sporting some sunglasses on the motorcycle.

A quick moment with my little boys. Adorable outfits courtesy of our good friend Jane Ellen.

Sam also had a blast at his big brothers birthday party. He kept wanting to get right in there with all the action and was happiest hanging on the floor with the other kids.

The zip line was a personal request from Lucas...it is his favorite My Gym activity.

A break for munching on some pizza and cupcakes....of course we could hardly get Lucas to stop and eat.

A puppet show for the munchkins.

Parachute time.

Singing some songs.

Lucas having a blast.

My sweet 3 year old boy.

Lucas loves Miss Hanna, one of his regular teachers.

The HUGE and yummy cupcakes. The cupcake toppers were made by my friend Ali. Ali also did all of the invitations and thank you cards. Between Jane Ellen and Ali, I'm all set these days,
