A Visit from Eric...

Unfortunatly, this post does not come with pictures ( my camera was still packed away from Hawaii and with a dead battery at the time of this visit), but our visit with our dear friend Eric was so special that I thought I needed to at least mention it. Eric, my close friend that I have known for over 15 years called a couple months ago to tell me that he had a wedding in Nashville that he would be flying out from Phoenix to attend. He said that he hoped to be able to get to see us while in town, we were excited to hear about this. However, what was even more exciting was that Eric called again several days later to say that he would be flying out a couple days early so that he could spend quality time with us before all the wedding festivities would begin. This meant a lot to Les and I and we were so honored to have him visit and stay with us in Nashville. The only bummer was that Eric's beautiful and extremely sweet wife Becca and daughter Kylie could not join (we will be begging them to visit next time). :) We had a blast with Eric and did so many fun things together. Les was able to take some time off from work and we took Eric to the CMA's, downtown Franklin, downtown Nashville and lots of other sightseeing around town. We even got a babysitter one night so we could go to a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Neros Grill. Lucas and Sam really enjoyed getting to spend time with Eric, he was so good with the boys. Lucas still frequently asks when he will see Eric again. I think the next time will be our Fall visit to Phoenix (unless we can get them back to Nashville sooner, hint hint Becca) :) :) Again, so sorry no pictures, but next time for sure. Eric, if you are reading this, again we can't thank you enough for your trip out to Nashville as we had the best time.....you, Becca and Kylie are welcome here anytime! :)
