I can't believe that summer is almost coming to an end. I also can't believe that it has taken me this long to post pictures from one of our many trips to the pool. It has been such a hot summer and so the best thing we have done most often is head to the pool. Both the boys (as well as Daddy and myself) absolutely love our time at the pool. The pool we belong to is so much fun and has one of the best kid sections I have ever seen (slides, water falls, baby pool, etc.). Lucas has become quit the little fish and has become pretty good at swimming. He is just about ready to be able to swim all by himself (well of course with us right next to him). Sam also enjoys the pool, just as long as the water is somewhat warm (has mostly been the case). He loves splashing around and playing in the water falls. As much as I'm ready for some cooler weather, we will definitely miss our trips to the pool when Labor Day comes and we see the last of some good pool days. We would put a life vest on Lucas in order for him to do the little kiddie waterslide. Without the life vest he would fall back on his head, this worked a lot better.

What a cute picture....Sam was a little hesitant about going near the water falls and so Lucas took his hand and said "come with me Sammy, nothing be scared about". Melt my heart. :)
After Lucas led the way, Sam had a blast playing in the water falls. We couldn't get him out!

too cute! What a fun pool! Glad to see you have a bathingsuit bottom that fits Kappy...can you believe that was 9 years ago!!!!
