Charleston Trip To Visit The Paraschos Family

Over Memorial Weekend, we took a fabulous trip to Charleston, South Carolina to visit our good friends the Paraschos Family. Charleston is just beautiful and we love when we get to visit the Paraschos Family in their great city. Unfortunatly, Sam was a  little under the weather (Lucas had an ear infection too, but wasn't bothered by it) with a nasty cold and cough...he just wasn't his usual happy self, but we still had an amazing time. Jane Ellen and Theo definitely get an award for hostess and tour guide of the year. We did so many fun things together...the Farmers Market, playing outside, going to the swimming pool and beach, visiting the great Aquariam and even stopping at a jump castle place for the kids. Not to mention, eating at some fabulous resturants. Most importantly, our quality time spent with Jane Ellen, Theo, Nikos and Rhodes was unforgetable. We always have a great time and make so many wonderful memories with this family. It's definitely a bitter sweet as we have so much fun while together, but I miss them so much when we are gone. I have to say Nikos and Lucas are the cutest friends with each other. They remind me of Les and Theo and it tickles me pink. They couldn't get along any better and have very similar personalities and likes. Lucas and Nikos are so much fun to be around, they just click so well and now that we are gone, Lucas keeps asking to go back to Nikos house. :( Rhodes and Sam do pretty well with each other too, well, they pretty much ignore each other, ha ha! However, I know give them a couple years and they will become great friends too. Can't wait to have many more visits with the Paraschos Family. Jane Ellen, thank you for everything, you're the best! :)

Yup, boys will be boys and I love these 2 boys. They are so much fun to watch together.

One of the few times we could actually get both Sam and Rhodes to sit still long enough for a picture. Sam looks all sweaty and dirty as it was the end of a busy day.

A fun day at the beach. So glad Lucas and Sam decided they liked the beach afterall. Sam was afraid to get down and stand in the sand and Lucas, well he seemed to be afraid there would be sharks in the ocean (courtesy of Aunt Jane Ellen's lesson at the Aquariam, ha ha girl, you know I think it's so funny). They both spent the first 15 minutes crying, fun times! :) Then, it ended up being a blast and all the boys had a great time. Oh yeah, Lucas was right....there was sharks in the ocean. A man ended up catching one about 25 yards from us. Blood splattered on Lucas and we heard from him a big "I told ya so". HILARIOUS!!! :)
