New House Update: Bricking The House

It's hard to believe that our house is pretty much half way down, hooray! We started this entire process exactly a year ago with the purchase of our lot and the sale of our old house.  The new house is looking great and we couldn't be more pleased! A few weeks ago, they started to lay the bricks on our house. It took us a really long time (lots of driving around and taking pictures of other homes) to figure out which brick to use and how to get it exactly how we wanted. Choosing our brick was probaby the biggest decision thus far because it pretty much makes or breaks the exterior of the house. We are very excited about our brick color and even more excited that it looks exactly how we wanted it to, phew! It took them about 2.5 weeks to brick the entire house and now that they are done, they will stone the remaining next week. Other house progressions includes completion of the wiring and insulation phase. Next week they plan to start the dry wall process. Below are a few pictures that show some of the bricking phase.
