Well, Lucas' Fall 2011 Soccer Team has officially started! Our boy has had 2 practices and a game so far....he has done fantastic the entire time. He is on the same team as his good friend Gabriel, so that has helped with his confidence some. Lucas seems to enjoy soccer a lot more this season, but he is still pretty shy on the field. He will kick the ball, but his non-aggressive nature definitely allows the other guy to grab the ball from him first. :) We are so proud of Lucas for getting out there and playing the entire time, usually with a smile on his face and a thumbs up at Les and I standing in the crowd (I love when he does that). I have to say I never thought I would be that rowdy soccer mom, but I do find myself clapping and cheering pretty loudly for his team, ha! :) Les took the pictures below at his first soccer practice of the season. I stayed home with Sam that night, but definitely heard all about it when they got home (from practice and a "good job" outing to Coldstone with daddy afterwards).
