On Tuesday, Sam had his official 2 year old check-up! As always, he is doing great and thriving just as any 2 year old boy would be expected. He did pretty good for his check-up. He didn't like getting measured and weighed, but he did seem to enjoy the actual check-up with our totally awesome pediatrician. To my very pleasant surprise, we had not shots at this check-up. :) Sam has changed so much in the last year of his life and below are his stats and just some fun facts about our growing boy:
Weight: 28 pounds (55th percentile)
Height: 34 inches (35th percentile)
Head: 19cm (30th percentile)
At 2 years:
Probably the best sleeper in this world: 12-13 hours at night and 2-3 hour nap in afternoon.
A picky eater that definitely likes to stick to his favorites only. Some of Sam's favorites are turkey dogs, pastas, mashed potatoes and anything sweet. Not a big meat boy! :)
Has a growing vocabulary everyday....starting to put some short phrases together. Talks non-stop! :)
Understands just about everything you say to him and follows all directions.
Such a good helper and cleaner around the house. Definitely "mommys helper".
Can go "pee pee" in the potty and is very proud when he does.
Knows all of his body parts, starting to recognize shapes, can count to 5.
LOVES his big brother to pieces and worships anything Lucas does.
Very strong-willed and has quit a temper when he doesn't get his way or gets frustrated with something.
A loveable and friendly boy that is always blowing kisses, waving to anybody and giving his family lots of hugs and kisses.
LOVES all books and can sit and read books for an hour sometimes. Not a huge TV fan.
Extremely independent child...tries to do everything by himself and pushes away help.
A very fun boy that we love soooo much! :)
